The design of the Hide Lamp began from the unique characteristics of the shade material and it gelatinous ephemeral quality. The shade is made from transparent leather and is is hand pleated at the top and the base. The lamp turns on like a candle in the night and diffuses the light beautifully throughout any space it finds itself in. It is meant to sit on the floor or even atop a surface.
